Age of Dragons

A time period of dominance when the gods had disappeared fearing what had happened during the Great Seeding and the Celestial Wars that followed. The chromatic dragons saw an opportunity to take the world of Rüt for themselves. A war broke out between the chromatic dragons and their metallic brethren. The chromatic division of dragons believed that the should dominate and control the world and all of the planes. The Chromatic Division of Dragons began to plot the destruction of these inferior immortals. The metallic dragons did not agree with their counterparts instead they believed that gods and dragons could live side by side. So they searched out the gods of old in the The Great Arboretum to join forces and stop the Chromatic Division of Dragon. The Metallic division having learned of the plot worked with the gods to stop the massacre.

This started the Dragon War and the beginning of the end of the Age of Dragons.
