Revelen
Revelen (Common: To Reveal) is a small logging town in the north-eastern region of Bjiord. It is mostly secluded, with the closest town being Felesta, about three days travel by foot. Nunda Idepo has recently sent a large squadron of guards to search the city, though the exact reason for this is seemingly unknown.
Demographics
Due to the village being a labor village, it is populated almost exclusively by Humans and Dwarves. The population itself is split mostly between farmers and loggers, living near the windmill and the sawmill respectively.
Government
While there is no government directly controlling Revelen, the Bjiordian government controls the village as it does all other settlements in its jurisdiction. Advar Revelen is the closest thing to a leader of the town, being highly respected by most of the residents and being the original settler.
Defences
While the town does not have much in terms of structural defense outside of a few watchtowers, it does have a large self trained militia consisting of approximately three quarters of the teenage and adult residents.
Industry & Trade
While Revelen has to import effectively all of its resources outside of food and wood, it's actually considered to be a thriving community due to the high prices and demand of purpleheart wood.
Infrastructure
The vast majority of the village is built out of Purpleheart Wood, due to the high pupulation of the tree in the local area. There is also a large watermill built directly on the outskirts of the village on the riverside, used to grind wheat and other grains grown in local farms. There is a small market square near the center of town made of cobble and more purpleheart wood, where several market stalls are set up for both travelers and residents to use for selling their goods.
Natural Resources
The very fertile soil gives way to many purpleheart trees, and makes growing crops incredibly easy. Because of this, Revelen is able to export large amounts of natural products, though they primarily focus on selling their purpleheart wood as both raw resources and handmade objects such as carvings or furniture.
