DEMI-GODS
The Demi-Gods are mortals, but can be anything that has gained the favour of the shards and have been elevated to a form of godhood, such creatures are given demi-planes in which to continue their great work. They are often messengers who can bestow gifts on other mortals, they can often be justicars who hunt down those who would seek to imblance the shards.
Demi-Gods have risen from their humble beginnings of humans, elves, and other humanoids, to golems who stood against armies and held their ground, Echo Spirits who sacrificed themselves to protect others, and other stranger and epic origins.
Demi-Gods are more familiar to the civilizations of the world than the First Gods and some are worshiped and in-turn offer spells to clerics, or pass down arcane knowledge. Some teach battle skills and others music.
Each region of Ryveria may have its own Demi-Gods or may have different names for existing ones.
