Revelers in the Long Dawn
Of those who follow the great deep lurker Lophiiformes there are some who feel the eventual demise of all life has been overemphasized as a part of the lessons of Lophii. The legend of Lophii follows that he is gathering and luring his prey in with his light. And when he has lured in enough he will consume all life. The stories of how he consumes and destroys the world dominate the scriptures and writing of the Adherents of the Deep Shepherd . But the Revelers focus on a different part of the prophecy and myth. Before the deep one will consume the world, it must thrive.
The Revelers believe that Lophii calls them to bring light to the darkness and to encourage life to thrive. They believe that although the end is inevitable, it is incredibly far away. The world is not yet grand enough, bright enough, alive enough to be worthy of apocalypse. They are called to do kindness and bring forth the light. Revelers point to the Sundelier and say that until it is full there is no reason to fear. We are not yet so bright and thriving to be appetizing.
