The Union is the soul owners of Fort Nezzon and the Star Mines, the chief source of iron and steel for the Unified Territories.
History
Following the disaster at Nazteth the surviving Nezzonites split into two factions, the Tessites and the Aarites. Under the leadership of founderdudes eldest surviving daughter Tessa the group moved south in search of food, water, and a new home.
During their migration Tessa received a vision from her mother that a light from the sky would guide them to their new home. Tessa was fearful that her companions would think her crazy and kept the vision secret until a meteor burned across the sky, crashing atop a distant mountain. Tessa immediately fell to her kness and confessed to vision to all who would listen. She promised safety when they reached the mountain and settled Fort Nezzon and began mining Star Mountain to find the heart of the fallen star.
After the fort's completions Tessa formally founded the Tezzonite Union of Light
