Crystalborn

The crystalborn were created by Rhogar on behalf of Sevryn the Red Death. She and the cult of Sevryn used a magical ritual to extract the latent power of the mythical gem dragons from their ancient scales and use it transform and enhance Sevryn's dragonborn followers. 
There are currently three variations of crystalborn encountered by the Party, created from three supposed types of gem dragon: amethyst, crystal and obsidian. Their scales have become crystalline in appearance, representing the dragon their new power came from.
