Rusty

Rusty was a self-aware squirrel that existed within Torrin's magical pocket realm, designed to test the Party. Within this pocket realm, the squirrel folk were engaged in a generations-long war (in reality only a few weeks) between King Bitey and the Republic of Acorns. Rusty encountered the Party upon their arrival and accompanied them as they defeated King Bitey the Bitter and united the squirrel folk. 
During the journey, Ishurad's Mask was briefly placed on Rusty and he was immediately overcome with visions that his squirrel mind could not comprehend. Regardless, he stayed with the Party right until the end of their test and their encounter with Torrin himself. Before leaving, Gust Ragedrum snapped Rusty's neck to prevent him sharing what he had seen when wearing the Mask, but Torrin healed the poor squirrel and Rusty bid farewell to his new friends (and Gust).
