Torrin
Torrin served the Kings and Queens of Ishurad's line for many centuries until the eventual massacre that left the capital of Sanroth in chaos. Torrin fled Erichor after the Inquisition took over, believing them to be ill-suited to overall leadership. He sought the half of Ishurad's Mask that was still lost, having learned that Lord No One had come into possession the other and was able to harness the power of the First King's Blood.
This led to Torrin taking up residence just outside of Greymoor, having determined the Mask to be somewhere nearby. He was quite the bother to the locals, who saw him as nothing more than a mad old wizard. His magical experiments led to the creation of shimmer wolves that roamed the area and strange magical effects around his cabin, such as unnaturally vibrant, multi-colored flowers.
After learning that the Party had come across the Mask, Torrin trapped them in a magical pocket realm where they had to prove their worthiness by passing several trials, all while having switched bodies with each other. After they made their way to the end of the trials, Torrin explained to them the purpose of the Mask and the existence of the Blood of the First King. He entrusted the Party with keeping the Mask away from Lord No One while he searched for a longer term solution.
During their time in Underdrey Manor, the Party learned from the echo of Adoris Rainhald that Torrin had followed in the duties of his predecessors and was responsible for branding a young Vimis Underdrey in order to suppress the bastard blood of the First King within him, seemingly using a gem of great power to do so.
After leaving Garrikhill, the Party met with Torrin at the Bottomless Cauldron in Riverside. He revealed to them the existence of the Infinity Sources, which could potentially be used to power spells and rituals that could oppose the power of the First King's Blood. He tasked the Party with finding the Infinity Source he believed to be in the city, though he was himself hunted by the Nameless Order and so unable to stay and search personally.
