Rock Gnome
In contrast to the Forest Gnome cousins, rock gnomes are industrious, under-ground dwellers typically found living or associating with Dwarves. They are generally few in number, but the hallmarks of their craft are common on many good, large construction projects, and fantastic devices throughout Sanzeia.
One tradition tells that when a gem is formed within the earth, if it is particularly perfect it becomes a gnome. It is generally believed the rock gnomes themselves started this tale, so its veracity can not be confirmed.
Naming Traditions
Other names
While not quite possessing the whimsy of forest gnomes, rock gnomes likewise seem to collect more names as they age. The practical rock gnomes treat these more as titles.
