Capital city
The Capital city was, as the name hints, the capital of the Great Empire. It was centre of both secular and spiritual autority, permanent residence of the Holy Human Emperor and home of the Holy Church.
The Capital city was located in the centre of the Central Mainland, at the the place where The Father and The Son clashed for the last time during The Divine war. During the Uprising and Civil War, the last loyal Imperial forces withdraw back into the city. The Mad Emeror and his avisors unleashed some unknown and unnamed horrors that consumed the city, its inhabitants, defenders and entire place. Large part of besieging forces was destroyed before the horrors were stopped and push back behind the walls. The entire city went under blockade in order to stop spreading of unleashed creatures. All entrances to the city were sealed with magical barriers.
The small order of warrior-monks, trained in monster-hunting, volunteered to keep horrors at bay. They were granted this "honour" as no one else wants such burden. The order immediately start construction of garrison at each and every pass to the blocked city. Initially, they recieve some financial aid and lended workforce but soon they were left by themselves.
