The Valgard Legacy
This story follows one character whose life has been lived on loop for a long time - Emma Valgard. Plagued by nightly dreams of how her past lives have ended, each time her story is reset by the God-Machine in a Temporal Loop Infrastructure. Infiltrating that occult matrix, a small demon Ring known as the Ring of Truth broke the pattern and disabled the God-Machine's ability to reset and update the historical data. This time Emma Valgard dies, as she does in each iteration of the timeline, and her reference is filed by the God-Machine as deceased.
But her legacy and story continue as Emma dies as a mortal but rises as a Vampire and lives her Bardragga Saga.
Her family line continues, as this iteration actually lived long enough to bear a child. and those descendants have their stories told in Descendants.
Her modern plots and sparring with her nemesis The Night Doctor is legendary. The Plots of Pawns, Rooks, Bishops, Knights, and Royals tell that story in its manifold forms.
