Tiam's Chosen
The old Cult of Dragons has found new leadership and reformed into the now self proclaimed "Tiam's Chosen". Under this new leadership they've turned away from killing dragons and making them immortal as Dracolyches and instead focus on the singular goal of summoning Tiamat bodily from Avernus into the material plane.
Structure
The organization is lead by 5 Wyrmspeakers and wielders of the Dragon Masks. The Dragonsouls are next in the leadership hierarchy and often used to be termed the "wearers of purple" in the old Cult of dragons.
Culture
To their core these humanoids worship dragons. Their fanaticism toward dragons is often enphasized by many chromatic dragons themselves as they all view a band of humanoids dedicated to their kind as amusing at worst and useful at best. Through the millennia creatures have always feared, admired, and worshipped the majesty and might of dragon kind. This following grew more prevalent as the GodKings of the old world were destroyed, abandoned, or sealed away in the Divergence.

To bring about an era of draconic rule by freeing Tiamat from hell.
Assets
Beyond the obvious might of chromatic dragons, Tiam's Chosen have an enormous amount of wealth. This monetary power insofar as the sword coast has gathered was amassed by collecting dragon's hoards as well widespread thievery and plundering of civilized lands. They several military forces including the mercinary company known as the Grey Swords.
