Royal Summer Palace
Purpose / Function
A summer cottage for the Royal Family to vacation to and unwind.
Alterations
Extensive renovations to the grounds, gardens, and the interior but the main structure has not changed since it was built. With the exception of the addition of large glass windows on the south, east, and west walls. The north wall and the northern corner walls retain the original smaller window sizes while the newer more efficient glass replaced the old aging glass.
Architecture
A large rectangular building of tan and peach sandstone blocks with the homology of the block, broken up with the placement of ground to soffit grey slate pilasters formed into a colonnade. They are engaged with the roof and foundations to form a stable and strong building, so strong that a hundred years before it was destroyed massive gallery windows were added in the afore mentioned Alterations. Atop of each pilaster three granite gargoyles were placed on perches built into the capital. The main double wooden door sported a pilaster on each side matching the rest, while holding a large arched entablature with the Kingdom of Cosha Royal seal making up the keystone.
Defenses
The main defense is the secluded nature of the building, but is rumored to have the largest collection of stone gargoyles of a building of it's size.
