Ebril is the first claimed bastard child of Count Kynan ap Gruffyl.
He represents the positive side of a "pristinely gifted". He was and is powerfully magical and while he doesn't have any special non-magical skills, he was never a useless moron without his magic.
He is a fifth circle Transmuter, fourth circle Necromancer, and fourth circle enchanter. He is a fairly prodigious creator of magical items having made six or seven Bags of Holding alone though he is definitely slowing down in his old age.
