Mantas the Merchant

Mantas is a wealthy merchant who attempted to spread the theory that Emerande the vampire was not real and she was fabricated as an excuse to let the Prophet's Pass Government and Kormatin the adventurer to loot wealthy merchants.
Then after accepting that Emerande was real, he tried to recruit a mob to force Kormatin to turn over Emerande's treasure over to Prophet's Pass and failed miserably due to a lack of widespread support and the efforts of Commander Budrys .
This cost him what was a likely seat on the ruling Pentarchy.
