Avondale
Avondale is one of the farming settlements that surround Port Karn.
It is located almost due south of the city, and mainly provides housing for the farm workers, along with what services they need for support.
Avondale is relatively close to the edge of the jungle, so it gets more than its fair share of "Wilderness incursions".

Government
Small city council, overseen by a local baron.
Defences
None, really. It doesn't even have walls. It has some fences, but while they may stop livestock or animals, it wouldn't stop an army.
Industry & Trade
Avondale is a farming town, almost exclusively. While there is a smithy, and a chandlery, an outfitter, and several other businesses, those are primarily to support the people in the town, rather than for export or trade.
Infrastructure
The city council oversees road construction and repair, maintenance of the water towers, support of the volunteer fire department, and organize the farmers according to the PKAC guidelines.
Districts
None. The town is too small for districts.
Guilds and Factions
The primary faction in Avondale is the Avondale Farmers' Guild, a satellite guild of the Port Karn Agricultural Council. It exists mainly to prevent the most egregious abuses by the feudal system. It mitigates the worst offenses, but it's not like the life of a serf is easy.
Tourism
Nothing to see here, folks.
