Duchy of Unduraz
The Duchy of Unduraz was born from the split of House Eldreth from the rest of the Kingdom of Arborea.
House Eldreth was the Ruling House of the Kingdom of Arborea before Arborean House Flori ascended the throne. At the time of House Flori's appointment as Ruling House, House Eldreth's representatives were engaged in a private ceremony in their ancestral fiefdom of Unduraz, thus far from the capital Azalea. They were also not informed of the Council vote and found themselves ousted overnight.
Called together all their still loyal followers, they waged war towards the capital to regain the throne. To their despondency, instead of facing the troops of the usurpers, they found the Arborea Archmagi Council Mage, the most powerful wizards of all the Houses, lined up, ready to destroy them.
Faelyn Eldreth, the former king, then decided to retire to the ancestral territories of his House and no longer recognize the authority of the Council. From that moment on, the territory of Unduraz declared itself independent and the head of the House assumes the title of King, while the Kingdom of Arborea considers the territory a rebel Duchy that sooner or later will be re-entered into the kingdom.
