The Shadow of Dagon
In the place where the clash between the New Gods and the creatures loyal to the Ancient Myths took place, still today remains a terrible reminder of what was and what could be again.
An indelible stain on the ground is still perfectly visible today where Dagon, one of the Great Ancients, was defeated and exiled beyond the Void by the New Gods.
In the center of the Sacred Valley, where thousands of pilgrims go to pray every day, the ground is still burnt today and nothing grows there, as if to remind everyone what was fought against. The place is enclosed by walls, along which ten paladins of the divinities of Valenor always watch, to perpetually guard against a feared return of the ancient Myths and their monstrosities.
