Session 36
General Summary
22nd of Ranger's Scythe - Started with Ulfr recognizing one of the tribe members who had surrounded the camp, Waddel, who had come to bring us to their clan leader & pleaded with Ulfr to run. Refusing, combat initiated.
The group had a slow start due to being asleep and having some trouble waking up, but gathered and slowly dealt with the tribe members. A wolf behind Waddel eventually shifted to its demonic looking form, before splitting her in two. After dealing with its invisible retreating by repeatedly running into the creature, Juttar dealt the killing blow.
With some effort, some of the remaining party went to sleep, or something near it, while Juttar kept watch the rest of the night.
23 of Ranger's Scythe - The next morning, Juttar and Scribe discussed the events, and decided to not call in Regin as backup. They did send a message to Lazir, warning her of the situation and sent off more information with the raven messenger. Beska helped Ulfr speak with Waddel one more time using the Speak With Dead spell, where we learned the chieftain had claimed we were a danger and the balance was being disturbed.
Afterwards, we discussed two ways to get to Iskjørka, and decided to travel through the tunnel systems to get as close as possible.
