The Culling of the Golden Order

Culmination of tensions between the Wizard and REDACTED in Meropis. Resulted in the destruction of the Golden Sword district and it's inhabitants.

Summary

In the year 1130, after growing tensions in Meropis between REDACTED, the leader of the Golden District, and the Wizard, fighting had broken out within the city. All teleportation was barred, defensive barriers were damaged and the entrances to the city closed, caused by two rituals taking place in the city. The aim of these rituals was to move the source of magic within Meropis. This would allow REDACTED to alter magical law within the city as he saw fit.   The Wizard gathered a taskforce of prevalent members in Meropis to disrupt these rituals, kill high-ranking generals of REDACTED's order and teleport him to the Wizard to be dealt with. Within this task force were Sentinel, Arbiter and living statue created by the Wizard, Lomas Bronzemask, famed adventurer and inventor, Joaquin Goldlock, Arbiter of the Eye of Meropis and Konstantyn Nowak, lightweaver and double agent within the Golden Sword.   The mission's objectives were succesfull, and as the group made their way back to the wizard, the sound of a Silistran hurdy-gurdy was heard by everyone within the city. A green beam emerged from the tower to surround the Golden District, before closing in, killing the inhabitants.   On the tower, the force held on as long as they could to buy The Wizard time, while REDACTED used the power of the perished citizens to become a massive, four-armed, light weaving being. During this battle, several of them were slain, before being brought to REDACTEDs' Divine Domain. Eventually, The Wizard was able to gather enough power to overcome REDACTED, transporting them to his own Divine Domain, turning time back to before his allies were slain, and removing REDACTED from time. This resulted in no one (except, perhaps, the wizard himself) being able to remember anything about the man.
