Xudao

Settled along a cliffside, Xudao is the largest conglomerated settlement on Shanxi. It has a largely uniform infrastructure, consisting of many tall buildings, densely built together. Resources necessary for both Caretaker and Human settlement are common, and communities have coalesced in each of the thousands of high rises that make up the city. It's a common belief that this was once the capital of Shanxi.
Caretaker expert system presence in this area is very high, and the many wide, spacious rooftops allow for thousands of greenhouses to operate without hinderance by surrounding buildings. These factors allow a very high population to remain self sufficient in a rather dense area.
Xudao is also home to the largest land port on the planet, and acts as the main trading post for the comings and goings of Federal ships. The main bulk of the city is highly uniform and hard to navigate for newcomers, so citizens of Xudao have formed a tourist committee to aid travelers looking to explore or make trade with the residents.
