Aanke
Aanke is the goddess of rivers and lakes.
Description
Aanke, who patterned her appearance on that of Keeya, appears in the form of a young woman with ebony colored skin, cropped black hair, and black colored pupils. She wears navy blue hakama with a white top and aqua colored haori. On her feet she wears the zori called Torrent.Personality
Aanke wrestles with a strange duality that sometimes causes her to give off distinctly different impressions to different people. On the one hand, she is full of an almost childlike exuberance. She loves running freely without a plan or a destination, and is excited by all that she sees and hears along the way. On the other hand, there is no one she adores or looks up to more than the cold and distant Keeya. She views the goddess of the oceans as cool and mature, rather than aloof or standoffish. Aanke, in turn, tries to emulate this behavior herself sometimes. Those who have seen both sides of Aanke refer to the first version of her as Child of the Rivers and the second version of her as Lady of the Lakes.Relationships
Above all others, Aanke idolizes Keeya. She views the goddess of the oceans as the epitome of what she herself desires to be, and emulates her to the best of her abilities. Keeya herself is an isolationist, so their paths don't cross often, but Aanke would do anything for her given the opportunity. Aanke also looks up to Rhealm, finding the things she creates a constant source of joy and wonder. Of all her possessions, none bring her more happiness than the Torrent which Rhealm crafted for her.Places of Worship
