Rhelious

Rhelious is the god of writing, poetry, and song. Both he and his older sister Rhealm are worshipped together for the inspiration they provide to their favorite devotees.

Description

Rhelious has light blue colored eyes, with the same fiery red hair color as his older sister. His hair is even longer than hers, but he wears it split into three braids, one straight down his back and one over each shoulder down past his chest. His beard, in comparison, is relatively clean cut and only hangs a couple of inches off of his face. He wears multicolored tunics underneath brightly colored vests, tighed with a bright green or blue sash around the waist. He wears light weight leggings, usually of a lighter color, and black boots with green accoutrements. On his back, attached to a thick braided cord that runs from his left shoulder to his right hip, he wears a large golden harp called Peacesong.

Personality

Rhelious is jovial and cheerful in any situation; joyous celebrations, mournful tragedies, and everything in between. All are inspiration for great works of art. He encourages followers to make the best of all things and tries to find the silver lining or inspiration in otherwise trying times.

Relationships

Rhelious greatly respects his older sister Rhealm. Although he generally prefers words and songs, which are passed down for eternity, to physical objects which fade and break over the passage of time, he views her crafts differently. Many of her crafts will stand the test of time physically, and even those who don't often inspire great adventures and in doing so spawn stories and ballads which will never fade.   Rhelious does not often meddle in the affairs of the greater deities, but among them he holds Arashiki in greatest regards. The spreading of knowledge goes hand in hand with the spreading of great works of art, which Rhelious believes the be the surest way to bring people together.   Kamis is a fan of the joy that people derive from the art that Rhelious shares, and so the two are on good terms. Kamis is less concerned with spreading culture and bringing people together though, so she doesn't often factor into Rhelious's larger works.
