Soul

Soul is the nickname given to Lifeforged Number 25 by Hatsume Atsutane. After studying both Number 25 and the remains of Number 26, Hatsume concluded that something similar to a soul was the piece that differentiated them and the thing that neither she nor Soshu Lifeforger were able to create.

Personal History

In S306 Soshu Lifeforger created the Lifeforged to serve as guards and workers in Ganeshuku. After the Lifeforged Riot in S316, Number 25 was the sole living Lifeforged left in the city. Unlike the other survivors, who fled, Number 25 was fiercely loyal to the humans they served.
Eventually they travelled with Hatsume Atsutane to the Atsutane Lodge and became a core piece of her research there.
