Yukiyo Remingale
(a.k.a. Blue Flash)
Yukiyo is the new Daimyo of the Western Province and the niece of Masujiro Remingale, the head of the Remingale Clan.
Personal History
Yukiyo is the daughter of Masuji Remingale and was born and raised at Greystar Manor in the High Court of Zonyashi. In the city she trained with the Ironbound from the time she was old enough to lift a katana. By the time she was fourteen she had already established herself as a skilled samurai in the Path of the Two Heavens style, and carried a valuable Remingale daisho. In S305, when word of the undead entering Hiro-On reached Zonyashi, the sixteen year old snuck out of the family estate to join the warriors travelling north to fight. Along the way they met up with soldiers from other cities and towns, many of whom doubted the young girl. She wore fancy polished lapis colored armor with the Remingale emblem and stuck out like a sore thumb among the rest of the Ironbound soldiers. Those who had trained with her in the past vouched for her skill though, and in time she earned the name Blue Flash on the battlefield. In each skirmish she was one of the first to charge and one of the last to fall back. Eventually she was hand picked by the Purple Twilight to join the elite 4th Squad. Although the bulk of the conflict was over at that point, Yukiyo participated in ventures to enter and clear buildings that contained lingering undead threats. Afterwards she spent the next two years honing her skills further in Zonyashi. She frequently visited with other Remingales in the city including the head of the clan, her uncle Masujiro Remingale, and the former head of the clan, her grandfather Noda Remingale. After Noda's death in S307, Yukiyo succumbed to her wanderlust and travelled throughout the Western Province. Over the next several years she made many visits to West Gale, frequently staying with family at Remingale Manor. In S316, when Masujiro and Hireniko both deemed her old enough, Yukiyo was granted the title of Daimyo of the west. Although hesitant to give up her travels and become tied down, she did at last concede and now makes Remingale Manor her permanent home.
