Flux Drive

The flux drive utilizes the superconductor fluxium to induce flux pinning. In addition to providing an immense amount of energy, the flux drive also effectively allows for controlled levitation within a planets atmosphere by using the superconductor to repel the planet's magnetic field.

Utility

The flux drive is used in one way or another in most terrestrial forms of transportation. Cruisers, levtrains, spacecraft, and Dextra all have utilize flux drives to provide varying degrees of levitation.

Manufacturing

Fluxium must be refined into its liquid form before it can be used in a flux drive. This requires it to be subjected to extremely high temperatures.
