Gorgeous
Gorgeous is one of the five Core Worlds and the the seat of the noble House Undemyron. It is a canyon planet located in the Ptolemy Arm. The capital city of Gorgeous is Highgale - a large city built into canyon walls.
Geography
The surface of Gorgeous is barren and windswept. Powerful dust storms blast through the wasteland and howling cyclones tear apart anything in their path. Because of this, residents have adapted to using Squallchimes to alert them to such storms. Residences and businesses are equipped with shutters which protect them from the oncoming blast of wind and dust.
The cracked surface gives way to sheer cliffs dropping thousands of feet into deep ravines. Precious water flows at the bottom of these ravines, giving life to all manner of vertically-growing flora.
Fauna & Flora
One of the more perplexing instances of wildlife to exist on Gorgeous are Sandsharks. These biomechanical beasts seem to traverse the wasteland following the dust storms. Their purpose in the ecosystem is unknown.
