Ramisao Sebeitabɵ Dezinii (RAH'mee'sah'oh seh'BAY'tah'buh DEHˈzin'ee'ee)
Ramisao Sebeitabɵ Dezinii (trans. Temple of the Northern Path), also known as Bolu North (sebeita bolu) or Ardarkaan Butrahr Fprisaleczlad (pron. ardarkaan butrahr fpree'sahl'ek'zlahd, lit. Gods' House of the Northern Path) in Yzelian is a religious sect based on Bolugama. Most of the tenants of the faith have remained unchanged. However, the group is centered around their leader, Daniila Kurem, more than the religion they are based on.
The followers are known as nuoukudai (walkers) or əhalo (uh'hahlow) in Yzelian.
Structure
At the top of the Temple is Daniila Kurem. He is the leader of the group and all major decisions are made by him. Under him are three supervisors who head each of the three compounds owned by the cult. These supervisors confer with a council of five representatives from the general population of each compound. The representatives have no formal authority, but are able to make suggestions on behalf of the congregation. All other members are of equal rank.
Public Agenda
On it's surface, the cult is merely a series of religious communes which practice Bolugama, a despised religion in Yzel but not illegal. As they tend to stay on the border, most citizens ignore them. They also act as a stopover for merchants travelling across the border, along with selling trinkets made from polished stones.
In reality, the funds they generate are used to finance weapons manufacturing and purchasing. They also use their geographical position to sneak across the border and pose as Yzelians (or Eoins when on their own side) in order to spark open conflict.
Assets
Sebeita Bolu owns three compounds, each one mainly composed of a disused farm that has been repurposed for their use.
History
The group was originally a small gang of misfits formed during Daniila's mid-late teen years. He gathered them around himself and led them through various petty crimes, ensuring that none were caught. Most of the group was made up of people of eoin ancestry and others who were discriminated against with Yzel.
Part of their rebellion against the country that hated them was the rudimentary practice of Bolugama. However, as all were young and unable to access a good deal of information on the subject, it was a patchwork of true Bolugama teachings and some Uneism, most notably the concept of a single savior being.
Daniila became the most knowledgeable about Bolugama through his access to his birth father's journals and as he was already the head of the group, positioned himself as not only a practical leader, but spiritual one as well. He used his slightly higher knowledge of Bolugama to educate his followers, who began to see him as a Dea.
By 1065, the group had officially established itself as a small spiritual center just outside of Leowit, where they faced a great deal of persecution being so close to the largest Tekel temples on the continent.
This led to their move in 1066 to a compound along the northern border of Yzel, a former farm that became known as Deakram. There, they established a stop between Yzel and Eoion, using the newly formed religious compound as a place for merchants to restock. The group became known for their hospitality and small trinkets manufactured on the farm. However, they kept all outsiders to the fringes of the compound and only those who had been with the group for many years were allowed to interact with them.
They attracted new followers from among the outcasts of Yzelian society and brought them under the care and education of the group.
At present, they hold three compounds and are working to ensure that the world become a fair, safe place under the leadership of their Dea.
Mythology & Lore
Sebeita bolu follows the same general mythological structure as Bolugama. However, it also cites a quickly approaching end times in which the two most prominent countries will go to war with one another. This will leave the land free and the citizens crying out for leadership.
As regular people are unable to lead themselves, particularly the slaves of Eoion, it will be Sesbeita bolu that comes to power and leads the population to utopia.
