Similar to how dyslexia is sometimes nicknamed “the M.I.T. disease” in our universe due to a large percentage of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s students being dyslexic, the neurotype was officially named after Guild Machina in the Sensorium universe due to a large percentage of its members being dyslexic. Or, should I say, “mäkïfänteïziyäk” /ˈmæ.kɪ.fænˌteɪ̯.zij.æk/?
