Textile Guild

A guild for the tailors, weavers, hatters, quilters, cobblers, upholsterers, embroiderers, tanners, laundromats, etc. of Amity City.

Structure

The only real hierarchy within the guild is that between the masters and apprentices, and masters are encouraged to listen to their apprentices' ideas.

History

The guild has been the providers of Amity City's textile needs for as long as anyone can remember; estimates of its actual age had to be done via meticulous examination of the Amitian City-State's records. The Charitable Branch, however, was whipped into its current shape by Mizuno Hoshi when she decided to live with the Tezuka family in Amity City part-time. She convinced a considerable number of members to pool their leftover resources and collect preowned ones to take care of the poor's needs as she made more and more friends, and eventually contributed to the early invention of saori weaving in this universe.
