Yaokwai (ja̋ʊ̯.kwa̰ɪ̯)

The closely related East Asian supernatural communities of Amedi City. Some may refer to themselves as ʾYeu Kwáy ~ ʾYeu Kwąy [ʔjə̄ʊ̯ kwɑ̌ːj], [ʔjə̄ʊ̯ kwɑ̤ːj], Yogwe ~ Yogo [jɔɡ.wɛ], [jɔ.ɡœ], Yōkai /jɔː.kaɪ̯/, etc. I'm just using “Yǎokwại” to simplify and will switch if necessary.

Culture

Common Dress code

While some will opt to dress however the majority of the local humans currently do, most prefer wearing traditional dress from their ancestral lands.

Yǎokwại generally wear Chinese hanfu, qipao/cheongsam, Tang suits, Zhongshan/Mao suits, etc.
ʾYeu Kwáy ~ ʾYeu Kwąy generally wear Vietnamese ao dai.
Yogwe ~ Yogo generally wear Korean hanbok.
Yōkai generally wear Japanese kimono.
