Session 13: Breathing Room

Finishing your conversation with Doghog the Great, you learned more about the Underdark and that it was a different plane of existence where demon lords made their home. He also name-dropped Morgoth—a figure Theo has become familiar with in some of their dreams and that he has a peculiar ability to move between the two planes. After badeing you farewell, Doghog took off and you were left to stop the fighting. Fen aided Theo in a magical amplification to project his voice across Ceres to stop the fighting from continuing and let everyone know that both the pretender and the actual Sir Godfrey Savill had fallen. Upon exiting Steepkeep Keep, you met up with your allies once again having a happy reunion with Joan in her pink ball gown and Daisy who was there to heal your wounds. But sadly discovered that Gonzo had perished in the fighting. Gobta was shaken but steel-headed as he gathered the people of Ceres to start rebuilding and reorganizing. You parted ways with Varlog and Aired with a potential presidential candidate found in Varlog. You made sure to stop at Minerva–or the Boneturner–and returned your disguises which you somehow remembered to do and based on Joan’s passing remark, you strove to take part in an actual, authentic beach day. Retrieving your horses once more and Fen buying a new one, you began riding north towards the places where the rivers meet. Upon your journey, you stumbled upon a mysterious begging man. Taking pity on him, you each offered up a gold piece which in turn, he rewarded you for. Each of you got a little bit of gold back and Thorns also received a boon from the goddess Tekkdekk which has yet to reveal its uses. You stood astride the top of a hill and gazed upon your long-awaited beach day where we left off last.
