Session 1: A Hidden Stash

We began in the Bawdy Badger, a tavern in Siris which is located south of the capital city of Maiar. You all met a halfing known as Blaze Griffinbane who was caught up in some legal trouble and you agreed to help him under his promise of gold and some of his stash. Upon entering the forest, the group encountered a flooded river where the bridge had been washed away. Fen and Thorns made it safely across appearing to dash over the waves–whereas Theo made it after catching themselves on one of the posts and dexterously flipping over to safety. Blaze also experienced the highest high he’s ever felt before you all failed to sneak around a clearing and met Captain Ena Tradove, Varlog Grik, and Aired Quinfina. These members of the royal guard served directly under Sir Godfrey Savill, the ruling lord of Maiar. A new bro/romance blossomed between Theo and Varlog and Thorns took a swing at Ena before she ran off to get back up. After negotiations and soul searching, the team looked inside Blaze’s hideout and under a secret door Fen found, a sack of gold coins originating from Fryedel and a sack of weed was found. With a tense but maybe not hopeless farewell to the guards and leaving Blaze in their captivity, the group returned to Siris, went on a shopping spree, and shared some secrets while celebrating their reward. They were abruptly awakened in the morning to an explosion in town where Captain Ena had returned with a dozen more of these silver knights and holding Blaze hostage. She declared that he was to be executed tomorrow morning and anyone associated with his dealings would then follow. Avoiding arrest twice through persuasion and revealing past traumas, the group looked for a way to skip town by stealing some horses. Fen and Thorns stole Sunbeam and Turdstomp as Theo distracted the hospitable stablewoman and received a riding lesson on the pony, Tuck. As they pulled off a convincing escape and rode off with Thorn, Fen fell from their horse in the commotion.
