Session 5: Sailing the Golden Sea

After the ship was thrown out of control, Thorns grabbed the break with all of his might, causing the gears to lock up and the ship to pitch off to its side. You escaped with minor injuries besides Joan who suffered a broken leg. After failing to righten the ship, Fen tied a rope to the mast and pulled while everyone else pushed up, allowing the crew to straighten the ship and continue onwards to Efrits. Theo mended a part of the ship to allow for a more cosmetically appealing trip as you settled into the docks. Back in her hometown, Fen led the newly named Freezer Crew to the Old Inn on Eel Way where she mentioned a speakeasy was hidden inside. After mentioning the name “Aegis” to the innkeeper, they opened a back door into a passage where the party was able to speak with Aegis—an old buddy from the fighting pits. She filled the party in on the nefarious doings of Billy Joe and his prisoners who were entertainment in the fights. She also mentioned how the winner of all the bouts is able to ask him one thing which he will fulfill without question. Looking to see what you were up against, you made your way to the abandoned warehouse at the edge of town that night to investigate. You crept inside and made your plan to gain the other fighter’s allegiances to then take down Billy Joe and end his reign. Overhearing, Faarth, the airelemental barkeep became your ally under the bargain that they would talk to the fighters beforehand if you agreed to release them from their bond to Billy after. The following night you found yourselves back in the same space and after witnessing the first match between a woman and a centaur, Fen was thrown into the ring UNDER THEIR OWN REAL NAME. Across from them, they are staring into the face of their long-lost childhood friend, Daisy.
