Kaedia at the Foot of Yggdrasil

The Land of Union

Originally founded by Monsters and later settled by Dark Elves again, Kaedia is currently under the command of the Vajeon Royal Family which is a House made up of the union of Dark King Beluar, an Elf, and Tanith Steel-Sword, a Monster.

Geography

Kaedia is a vast land that sits at the foot of Yggdrasil, split in half by the great river that pools at the roots of the great tree. The borders of Kaedia are guarded by natural forming mountains that are difficult to climb, providing natural defenses for Kaedians.

History

Land of the Sheltered

Kaedia was originally settled by The Last March, a clan of Monsters on a long pilgrimage across all of Dichónoia in search of a home. They established the Kingdom of Pygmei at the foot of Yggdrasil, finding sanctuary under the limbs of the great tree. They lived in seclusion for many years and did not concern themselves with the affairs of Dichónoia at large.

The peace of Pygmei came to an end with the Great Khaos War III, wherein serval of the Khaos Gods waged war with the 72 Golden Ones of the Jade Palace of Otherworldly Desires. This war brought hordes of Khaos Daemons to Kaedia and the Kingdom of Pygmei was quickly overrun. The Monsters of Kaedia were left in shambles, with their once glorious safe haven now corrupted by Demonic Seed Beds.

In time, a tribe of Elves was banished from Yggdrasil and ended up in the desolated lands of Kaedia. Their leader, King Beluar, went to war with the Khaos Daemons, killing Dauntey, The Overlord Daemon. With his defeat, many of the Lesser Daemons fell and Beluar carved out a new nation for his people, Svartálfheim, alongside the returned kingdom of New Pygmei. Kaedia was a land that would belong to the Monsters and Dark Elves.

Tourism

Kaedia has a very strict border policy and is not fond of any outsiders gaining entrance to the lands without express permission. Migrating to this safe land is no easy task, but leaving is no easier either. However, if visiting foreigners are permitted inside the walls of Kaedia, they are forbidden from leaving Janyiz, the small circular nation that encompasses the country, the furthest place fro Yggdrasil and the capital cities.
