The Carrion Tribes

The Carrion Tribes are the peoples of The Demon Wastes. Villified and demonised across Khorvaire, they have managed to learn to survive on the only source of sustenance available; the strange red moss that grows across the wasteland they call home. This survival has come at a cost though, in the form of brutish transformations visible in every individual and a savagery that has come with an unquenchable thirst for each others blood. Attempts to make peace or come to an understanding with these people have always been met with nothing but violence. Made up of a range of races, The Carrion Tribes are not a united people and have often been observed to fight amongst each other. These fights are often to the death and seem to be mostly territorial in nature. Over the years, there have been individuals who have turned up in Blood Crescent who claim to be former members of the tribe who have managed to break away from their moss-induced frenzy but these have always been hard to verify.
