Kingdom of Ocacia

The Kingdom of Ocacia is the most powerful Kingdom in Western Shandria. The coastal capital city bearing the same name is home to the many shipwrights that craft some of the only vessels that can make it across the Shifting Sea to Eastern Shandria. Thus, they hold a lot of influence over the rest of the world, especially in the west. The Kingdom of Ocacia used to be much larger, but The Severing split the Kingdom in two and the eastern portion have now declared themselves a new nation, the nation of East Ocacia.

Structure

The seat of power is the Arch Duke/Duchess, Who is served by The Council. The council consists of 7 Dukes and Duchesses. The royal court also has various advisors in specific fields.

Culture

The political elite live alone in their high districts, while the majority of the population live in various apartment style buildings. Criminals and the poor live in the Undercity, a vast network of tunnels and complexes forming a city of its own underneath. Highborn don't go near the undercity, but the police force maintains power in both cities.
