The Laws of Shards

  • It's always exactly the same day in the company premises. Over and over again.
  • Nothing and no one stays dead, they are back when the day starts over.
  • Each room/area has its own weather/season.
  • Many rooms can present odd gravity-related situations, like:
  • lower of higher gravity
  • Things (and most people) hit the ground with the same velocity no matter where they fall from, even if it doesn't look like that. I'm thinking something around 10 mph (or the equivalent of falling from a table) in most of the main building.
  • A particular substance "falls" in the wrong direction.
  • Some kinds of magic won't work in every floor/area.
  • Cosmology

    The company premises and everything related to them exist thanks to the Shards. There are inconsistencies about the exact reason and method.

    Principal Geography & Features

    Most other worlds are places similar to our own world (including one that it's basically Earth as we know it).   The premises of the company are a building surrounded by a magical... "forest". A couple of settlements had been formed as time passed, and many areas of the forest don't seem to fit with the rest of it.

    Initial Active Setting

    I'll mostly focus in the company premises and only include very specific places from the regular world that are required for the plot or very important for a character.
