An enigmatic changeling bard whose need for quick coin has led him to stick with his current traveling companions for the time being. Not that many of them are aware, as they have only met his personas, Vence and Emir Kaarde. The latter of which is one of the more famous bards on the continent.
The group first laid eyes on Thaen when they found themselves in the Dream Realm, Dal Quor, while investigating Hawk's house in Flamekeep. When the group returned to Flamekeep Thaen surprisingly chose to stay around a little while longer... though it seemed as though he wasn't used to being out in the world.
