High Hierophant

The title of High Hierophant is held by the supreme leader of The Church of Light. Often simply referred to as "The Hierophant" as there is only one man with the title at any time, his full title is: "His most holiest, the High Hierophant of Dunethel, the chosen of the Sunking, revealer of mysteries and protector of all Brightkin". He (and it must be a he) is chosen by a counsil of Cardinals, who chose from among their own ranks the successor to the Hierophant, after the old one dies.
