The War of Ashes

The War of Ashes, not to be mistaken with the historical Second War of Ashes is a mythological war that happened when the world was young and the gods still lived among their creations. Some of the most significant battles and moments from the war are told in detail (sometimes disputed details, depending on the one telling the myth), but much of the war is described as a time of confussion and fear, when all was war and violence. Its name refers to the claim that ashes would fall from the sky like rain during the war, from all the fires burning around the world.
