Bayushi Kotone
Older sister of Bayushi Konda. She leads the Scorpion Clan 5th Legion and is heir to the throne of that clan.
She swore vengeance against Kakita Jihi, but he was killed by one of her lieutenants, against her orders. She executed that lieutenant for disobedience.
She led her army in the sacking of Heiwa Toshi. She has used the giant ghost rock vein nearby to create a mechanized army the like of which has never been seen. She used this high-tech army to invade the Unicorn Clan, thereby ending their neutrality. Rather than stay and fight, and allow the Scorpion Clan to take their fortresses, they burned their own castles to the ground and fled Rokugan.
Kotone has taken advantage of the Unicorn flight to gain unrestricted access to attack the Lion Clan.
