Agasha Arikimede, Doji Sachiko, Utaku Akasha, and Tadaka the Banisher disappear during an expedition to Foundation Cave.

Agasha Arikimede, Doji Sachiko, and Utaku Akasha disappear during an expedition to Foundation Cave, followed shortly by Tadaka the Banisher. Rescue parties are sent by Akodo Kosei, but no sign of them is discovered. The last people to see them alive are Koji the stableboy and Koganshi Tamiko. Daidoji Sumiko, The Governor declares the caves off limits and posts guards to prevent entry.
