Fossning

A shining jewel of a city, the Owl capitol is one of the few places that can outshine Fridulfsburg, though the Wolf are loath to admit it. Fossning is the lens through which the creative and mystic skill of all the Owl is focused, and the results are clear.

The main palace of Fossning rises up from the froth and mist boiling up from the top of a three-hundred-foot waterfall. The main road to the city winds its way up a cliff with such beauty and grace that it is invisible to the outside observer.

The streets curve and flow with the land, bringing travelers naturally to major squares and important or useful buildings. Some visitors swear that as soon as they step out to find something in Fossning, the streets sweep them along to their destination without them even realizing.

As a result of the ever-desirable goods of Owl craftsmen and the relative neutrality of their lands, Fossning has flourished as a trading hub for most of Sjonderwold. Certain districts of Fossning overflow with vendors, shops, carts, and stores of all kind, all hoping to receive tangential benefits of selling in Owl lands. If something cannot be found in the markets of Fossning, it is not likely to be found anywhere.
