The Baneblades

The Baneblades are a set of semi-sentient magic weapons forged during the age of Arcanum by the Archmage Demron, these powerful weapons each come with a restriction on who may wield them as well as their own unique power.   Aradathil - The scimitar, glows with a white light and may only be wielded by a non-evil aligned character, it's wielder becomes immune to poison and disease, and may cast lesser restoration once per day. Wielded by Keeper Yennen.   Dragathil - The rapier, glows with a red light and may only be wielded by a character with charisma 15 or higher, it deals an additional 3d6 weapon damage, but all damage dealt by the weapon is nonlethal. In addition the wielder may cast hold person once per day with a DC of 18. Wielded by Enders.   Mhaorathil - The shortsword, glows with an orange light and may only be wielded by a dwarf, it deals an additional 3d6 fire damage and grants it's wielder resistance to fire damage. In addition fiends with 30 hp or less must make a DC 15 wisdom saving throw when struck by the weapon or become frightened.   Morvain - The greatsword,glows with a yellow light and may only be wielded by a human, it deals an additional 3d6 radiant damage, and allows its wielder to cast daylight once per day. In addition undead with 30 hp or less must make a DC 15 wisdom saving throw when struck by the weapon or be destroyed. Wielded by Gren Tal'Dorei.   Evaelathil - The shortsword, glows with a grean light and may only be wielded by a halfling, it allows its wielder to cast Charm person, Charm monster, and Locate creature, each once per day with a DC of 18. Wielded by Assum Emring .   Keryvian - The longsword, glows with a blue light and may only be wielded by a good aligned warrior of the Fighter, Cleric, Paladin, or Ranger class.The weapon crits on a natural 19 as well as 20 and allows its wielder to cast Jump and Featherfall each once per day. Wielded by Archibald.   Faervian - The longsword, glows with a purple light and may only be wielded by an arcane spell caster, it functions as an arcane focus and allows the wielder to store up to 9 levels of cast spells within it. Wielded by Ulfrik.   Solavain - The dagger, consumes the light around it as it radiates shadow and may only be wielded by a non-good aligned character. It duplicates when thrown, returning to the hand after the duplicate is thrown, and grants the wielder 15 temporary HP when they kill an enemy.
