Dartell
Dartell, often nicknamed "Dead" Dartell is a planar planetoid in the purlieus of the Mists of Passing. It is a dusty planet, mostly known for its mining and cattle exports, and ghost storms. It has only been relatively recently settled by the Barion Empire despite being in fairly close proximity to Gailesburgh. The iron grip of the commonwealth's law is not as strong here, or at least, bribing the members of that arm is much cheaper. This has made the place a prime hub and hideout for scum and villainy of all sorts in the region.
Ghost Storms
One of the reasons life on Dartell is especially difficult are the frequent ghost storms. These sandstorms are infused with what is believed to be souls from beyond, which arrive on the planetoid as flares from the mists of passing. Getting caught in a ghost storm can have terrible effects on the victim's mind as thousands of spirits try to pry their way back into reality and individuality through their soul. In addition it releasing roaming spectres, any dead bodies left out without the right precautions are certain to be inhabited by the restless from beyond. Needless to say, these undead hunger for life and are very dangerous. Decent coin can be made by any who choose to brave those dangers.
