Bubble Day in the Nation of Movlin
Bubble Day is a celebration of the Goddess Sylvia It is celebrated through out the The Sylvan Queendoms. Each nation celebrates differently and at different dates, however as the holiday revolve around aspects of Spring, the dates the various Bubble Days tend to fall close to each other.
While others in the Queendoms celebrate the Goddess and the glory she brings, the Independent Nation of Movlin Bubble Day is a more Solemn occasion. The Nekoians recall her failings and the failings of her worshipers. This is not to say they do not believe in her, they very much do believe and respect her. But to them it's a reminder that they can not always rely on the God and believe it is her. She after all exerted great strength to protect them and must recover, there for it is their duty to return the favor. The date of the Nekoian's Bubble Day is closely related to Bubble Day In the Garden's of Volatch as the Fairy's bubbles will drift over Movlin on the wind. Many of these bubbles will pop in the atmosphere bringing a rather soapy rain upon the jungle.
The Nekoians have thus taken to collect some of this rain, and producing bubbles of their own with it. They offer their own prayers and memories to the Goddess akin to the way Elves do for part of the Bubble Day at Seat of Syl. The then often relax watching the bubbles, rain and the brief glints of rainbows as the bubble reflect light on all the Jungle. The neko reflect on what they lost and all they took back from the Jungle and as well as they plan to achieve through the year.
A few of the elder Nekoians will do their best to recall happier times when they would race through the Jungles blowing bubbles, and hunting. Telling the younger Nekos in hopes one day, they can have such times themselves.
History
The Nekoians were always proud hunters. They after all chose to live in one of the more dangerous areas in the Sylvan Lands. They initially offered Goddess Praises upon the coming of spring. Enjoying a day atop the trees and in glades. Offering bubbles and competitions in the Goddess's name.
However things changed after the fall of what is now known as Old Movlin When Humans invaded the Jungle brutally slayed many of the unaware Nekoians and their Queen. The survivors had spread over the nations, with many living in the Blessed Seat of Syl During the many years with the Elves, they grew resentful for their losses, missing all they had, yet most felt it was the Goddess's design. They grew weak and were caught unaware. This cause the Nekoian to strive to not rely on others. Once the New Queen grew of age, and they reclaimed the Jungle of home. The celebration of the Goddess grew into more solemn, especially considering the new Village often laid in the path of the bubbles from Volatch
