After the natural death of her father, Kari received a single pendant from the wealthy heritage that her father had left. As an enslaved genie, she could not complain back then and took it without showing any emotion. Her father had betrayed her just some decades ago and forced her into the genie life. Over the following centuries, she began wearing this pendant more and more. It was the only thing that reminded her of her old human life and her father, which in the end, she still loved despite all the disgust she had for him and his caste of priests. After she arrived in Misara, Kari let a blacksmith repair the pendant and adjust it to her own size. She did not dare to do this with her magic but wanted it to be done in the natural way. After her old vessel was destroyed in 1823, Kari received a new lamp from the other genies of Misara as a welcome gift. The lamp has no power over her but is her personal entry to her place in the Genie Realm. It is a golden lamp in old Almira style that resembles an oil lamp from Earth but decorated with sapphires in the same color as her eyes. Most of the time, it stands at a desk in her personal bedroom in her palace. Childhood
Kari was born as Kari Abdenila Atlanos in Atlantis in 988 Before Christ, or 388 before the destruction of Atlantis. She was born out of the love between a high priest of Lia and a simple servant. The exact origin of her mother is unknown, but she was a simple servant in the church and she was the one who raised Kari till she was 10 years old. Then she began her training to become a servant as well. She was good in it and with the age if only 19, she was well known in the church for her good work, but even more than that, for her beauty. Many of the high priests and other official figures of the church were charmed by her alluring nature and her beauty. Kari knew that very well and used it for her own benefit.Enslaved Genie
After more and more priests wanted to have private access to the beautiful servant, her father, one of the high priests, could no longer watch how a mere servant was running around and bringing chaos to the church's order. He personally prepared a genie vessel with might granted by his goddess Lia and then called his daughter to him. Kari thought that her father may have finally realized that he had a daughter, as it was the first time that he called her directly. To her unluck, she ran right into his trap and was sealed into the genie vessel, a small lamp. In 967 BC, the vessel transformed her into a Bottle Genie and enslaved her to the lamp and its master. Kari was furious, but after she was summoned, she simply could not say anything against her father. He was her first master and she could only listen to his wishes and fulfill them like any good enslaved genie. Over the coming years, Kari served many masters and fulfilled uncountable wishes, most of them disgusting and full of the greed of her master. The formerly alluring, but kind woman turned cold and emotionless. She stopped caring for the world and what was happening in it. After centuries passed, she even lost her feel of time or place. It was a foggy morning and Kari had just switched again from master to master. Her new enslaver was a high priest of Lia, an old, disgusting man and Kari was already imagining what kind of wishes she had to fulfill again. As the events of the fall of Atlantis began, Kari felt an emotion for the first time in decades. Joy. She witnessed how the towers crumbled and her master was killed in the destruction. After her master was killed, Kari was sucked back into her lamp. The explosion of a big Magitech reactor right under her tower threw the rubbles of it, including her lamp, far away from Atlantis and the death of the civilization. The Lamp landed in the growing Alparan Mountain Range.Isolation
The coming 2321 years were hard for Kari. During the first decades, she enjoyed the freedom that she suddenly had. No more wishes to fulfill. No more corrupted priests. But also no more people to talk with. After a while, she realized just how bad the isolation was for her and she began to talk with herself, often in front of a big mirror. Over the centuries, she worked more and more on her own appearance, her way of moving and talking. Everything should be perfect for the day where she was found. She began to plan for it, planning to get her freedom at last by tricking her next master.Travel to Almira
Her lamp was finally found in 1821 AC by a young adventurer called Melios. The young man was caught off guard by Kari's beauty, just as she had planned. Instead of wishing for something, Melios just wanted to talk while they took the path down the mountains towards the Hach Desert. Kari learned that the old Theocracy of Atlantis fell apart after the fall of Atlantis and that there was a genie nation just around 160 kilometers south of their current location. Melios offered Kari to bring her to the genies and let them free her from the bounds of the genie lamp in exchange for a gift that Kari should choose as soon as she was free. Kari accepted this very positive deal for her easily and the two began their adventure. First, they traveled for some time through the Hach Desert, along the mountain range till they reached the Konos river. From there, they just had to travel south through the Holy Queendom of Kete to reach Misara, the first big town in the Harems of Almira, the genie nation. The travel took the pair 2 full years and bound the two together. Not once, Melios had tried to wish for something from Kari, a fact that surprised the genie heavily.Educator of Servants
Once Kari and Melios had reached Misara in 1823, he brought her to the Wali of Misara. The genies of the town gathered and with their combined magic, they broke the binding spell and freed Kari from her vessel. In her euphoric joy, Kari not only instantly burned her old vessel with her magic, but also gave Melios a kiss. The kiss was the gift that she had promised her companion, a powerful spell that transformed Melios into Melia, a genie just like Kari. She welcomed her sister and together they began living in Misara. After Melia learned what there was to learn from her sister, she began traveling again in 1857. Kari had by now created herself the Harem of Kari and a palace to live in. After she was finally free and had settled, she searched for a new purpose for her life and time. The genie decided that she wanted to offer people education and began to take in all kinds of people and train them into servants who could serve any high-ranking noble or wealthy master with pride. Over the years, Kari perfected her education methods and soon she no longer needed to search for new homes for the servants who finished her training. After the fall of Atlantis, Kari's lamp was lost for centuries. As a genie, she was trapped in her own isolated genie realm with no companions or playmates. Most of these years, she just spoke to herself in a mirror to avoid insanity. The travel with Melios was the first light for Kari in many years. Even though she was still bound to fulfill the wishes of her new master, he did not use it once. Kari has two main factors that motivate her every day to stand up and continue her joyful life. At first, is her motivation to have a purpose. In her philosophy, every being must have a purpose and this purpose is what gives them meaning. For Kari, this purpose is to give her knowledge over to future generations and train them to be perfect servants. The second motivation is the simple emotion of love. Kari wants to be loved and she needs it. After being alone for over two thousand years, and learning love through Melia, she never wanted to miss it again. Her harem, every single one of them, is a big motivation for Kari for her to go on.
Likes & Dislikes
Kari loves people and animals who share similarities with her own looks and behavior. Wherever she sees herself, receives her attention and desire. Typical aspects of these similarities are blonde hair, blue eyes, her perfect skin, and the alluring way she is speaking and moving. Kari is also a very physical being who enjoys long cuddle sessions, especially during long nights. She loves her own look and has an unhealthy desire to see herself often every day. It is one of the main reasons why most of her harem members share at least one or two aspects of her look or are full clones of her outer appearance. Kari also constantly flirts with everyone she meets, no matter if they are harem members, outsiders, or even criminals.
