Sai

Sai is the magical bubble staff of Saya Immerda. She has her own will and is able to communicate in simple ways. Differently to her mistress, she is a Golem and has not have a fully developed self-awareness and is not a complex being like a Human.

Physical Description

Body Features

Sai is a simple-looking, red bubble staff. Her body has two parts, a big ring to blow bubbles through and a long shaft to hold her. Due to her abilities, she can change her exact sizes at will. From the outside, it is not possible to identify her as the powerful being that she is, as she looks simple and like most other simple bubble staff toys that most kids use to create little soap bubbles.

Special abilities

Bubbles

Sai is able to create many kinds of magical Bubbles. The exact properties of these bubbles can be decided by the one using her. She is also able to create bubbles on her own or share her bubble-making ability with her linked partner. Typical bubbles produced by Sai are described in the abilities section of her partner Saya Immerda.

Emotional Communication

Sai speaks no language but uses the linking that she forms with others, to communicate through emotions. These emotions are complex and fully replace a language with ease. If she wants to be held, her linked partner will feel this wish, feel the emotion, and the urge to be held by her partner, and can act accordingly. This ability also allows her to work as a bridge between two or more people, to let them feel the emotions of the other one.

Bond/Linking

Sai is able to form bonds and linkings to the ones around her. While she links herself to many around herself for short times, to read their emotions or to communicate with them, there are only two people who have stronger bonds with her. The only truly permanent bond is shared with Saya Immerda, her dear partner. The lover of Saya, Jyx Forger, shares the second strongest bond with Sai and is one of the only few who are allowed to use her to create bubbles on his own. Nevertheless, Sai loves to prank Jyx.

Size Changing

Sai can change her size at any time and without command. She can be small enough to fit into any pocket and big enough to sit on her to float through the city or create massive bubbles.

Floating

Sai is able to float and fly through the air while ignoring gravity. She can extend this ability to people close to her, mostly by letting them sit on her like a witch broom. The ability can however also be used by her to let someone float without physical contact as well, making them quite helpless in the air without any contact with the ground left to move.

Personal history

Sai was found by Saya Immerda in the place between universes in the Pink Mist during Saya's travel from her origin world to Slimea Neueisen. She was formerly a lifeless bubble staff for kids, but as a Lost Soul bound itself to the staff, Sai came to life and was directly found by Saya. Due to the abilities of Sai, the two quickly shared a link of emotions and Saya decided to take Sai with her.
Since that day, Sai is never been far away from Saya and the two share a deep friendship with each other. Over the coming months, Sai learned more about herself, Saya, and the world that she lived in. Her abilities developed and were refined by the intensive usage by Saya. While Saya is the only one who is in control of Sai, the playful bubble staff also allows others like Jyx Forger to use her from time to time, yet never without playing little pranks to them.

While Sai is without sex, she identifies herself as a female being and behaves like that.

Sai never received an education and only knows what she experienced herself while traveling with her mistress Saya Immerda.

Motivation

Sai is a playful being, who has no ill meaning in herself and no deeper motivation. She is bound to Saya Immerda and is happy while being close to her. Due to the shared emotions, Sai is happy whenever her partner is happy and shares her times of joy, but also these of sadness. Her motivation mostly revolves around making her linked partner happy.

Social

Contacts & Relations

Saya Immerda is her dear partner and the only one who is permanently bound to her. Saya acts as Sai's best friend, her partner, and also a parent for her.
Jyx Forger is the only other person who is temporarily allowed to hold Sai and to use her abilities due to the love that he shares with Saya. Nevertheless, Sai loves to share her love for Jyx by pranking him often.
Selissa Blondhaar is in a love-hate relationship with Sai, as she feels that Selissa is a friend of Saya, yet Sai fears the abilities of Selissa and her chaotic nature with pink mist. She tries to avoid direct contact with Selissa and will actively float away from her.
During times of Fusion like Seliya Herzchenkuss, Sai allows the fusion who has Saya Immerda in it, to wield her.
