Structure

Council
The organization is led by a council of three people. This council votes by simple majority about all important points that affect the organization as a whole. It also checks the Contract Department and the Administration and appoints the directors of these departments. Each of the three members of the council also are heads of their own department, over which they have full control. The High Rescuer leads the Quick Response Force and the Disaster Retriever. They require skills for quick decision-making and are often at locations of disasters. The high Doctor leads the Hospital Supporter and the Field Hospital Force and is most of the time traveling around the world and checking the status of the different missions that are under the care of their departments. Finally, the High Researcher leads the Illness Research Department and the Improved Life Department and is a researcher themself, often spending their time inside the research facilities that are under the control of the organization. The unofficial fourth member of the council is Chisana Yuki, the founder of the organization. She herself has no official title and prefers to help out wherever help is required. While she holds no official power in the organization, her word has weight and the council often follows her suggestions.Contract Department
Each mission and each doctor that is sent to a hospital requires some negotiations and agreements done before. The contract department handles all the diplomatic affairs of the organization and forms contracts with companies and nations for cooperation. Most nations of Earth have at least basic contracts for disaster help with the Slimean Medical Aid to ensure that they receive help from them if required. Members of this department are often lawyers, former diplomates, and bureaucrats.Administration
Each big organization requires some form of administration to give chaos order. The Administration of the Slimean Medical Aid organizes all finances and regulations for the organization as a whole. Each department has its own small administration that cooperates with the main Administration. Only the main administration is allowed to spend larger amounts of funds and they set the norms that all other sub-administrations have to follow. Members of this department are bureaucrats and office workers.Quick Response Force
In times of great disasters, the rescue must be quick and without delay. Without any negotiations and agreements, the Quick Response Force appears wherever quick help is required. They are often one of the first organizations at disaster locations and be the spearhead of further help from the Slimean Medical Aid. After the Disaster Retriever appeared, the Quick Response Force slowly gives all further tasks to them and prepares for the next quick response. The members require exceptional skill in rescuing and a very broad medical knowledge of all kinds of wounds and illnesses that may appear and spread in such areas. They are also always able to move out in under 24h, which gives some certain privileges in the Queendom of Slimea, like the right to force any Hunter to let them go in times of a disaster. Members of this department are doctors, rescue specialists and crisis managers.Disaster Retriever
The big help arrives with the Disaster Retriever. They appear after the Quick Response Force has done the first rescue operations. With them, they bring specialized equipment, food, water, tents, and support of many kinds to retrieve the first need of the victims of a disaster. The Disaster Retriever will stay at the location as long as it is required, which often results in them being active at many locations around the world at once. They are the majority of the members of the organization and have many different professions in their ranks, from doctors, managers, and psychological caretakers to construction workers, and many more.Hospital Supporter
Hospitals around the world have small teams of Googirl doctors for the more complex operations nowadays. These doctors come from the Hospital Supporter Department of the Slimean Medical Aid. Their job is to help the hospitals wherever they can and to heal as many patients as possible. Each hospital or hospital group makes a contract with the organization, where they agree on the kind of medical operations that the doctors are allowed to do in the hospitals. While basic care, like healing illnesses or treating wounds is nearly always included, only very few hospitals also allow DNA Manipulation, like transformations to different Artificial-Species, like Cat-Humans. Members of this branch are always doctors.Field Hospital Force
Sometimes, long-term help is required in areas where no hospital infrastructure exists, such as countries that are at war or directly close to the frontline of active fights. The Field Hospital Force takes care of all kinds of patients, no matter the side or who they are. The golden rule to hiring them is that patients that were treated by them are not allowed to join active fights directly after the treatment is done and that they are allowed to rescue and help members of enemy forces in the same way as they do it for the allied forces that hired them. The unique abilities of Googirls allow them to operate without much equipment required, which makes them the perfect medical force in such areas. Another field in which they operate is disaster areas or to help out expedition forces that have no access to hospital infrastructure.Illness Research Department
The cure for any illness is the goal of the researchers of the Illness Research Department. They work to find the best treatments for the patients and to improve existing treatments or make them as available as possible. The department operates many specialized facilities to ensure that they can not only continue their research of the illnesses of the world but also be able to respond to epidemics and pandemics. Especially the broad DNA Variance of modern Earth with all their different humanoid species makes the research important, as each species requires its own adapted treatments and each species brings in their own illnesses and problems.Improved Life Department
With the creation of many Artificial-Species, like Cat-Human or Urban-Elf, the foundation for the Improved Life Department was laid. Their goal is to improve life as a whole, by researching genes and finding ways to make life easier, healthier, and overall more joyful for all inhabitants of Earth. One of their main fields of research is anti-aging treatment, a special form of anti-aging that allows to manipulation of cells with the result that aging is reversed back to young adult age.Culture
Members of this organization have a natural and deep-rooted helper instinct. They want to improve the world and make it a better place by helping people in need. Most members are Googirls or one of their subspecies, as they have the best medical abilities of all inhabitants of Earth. Supporters of the organization come from many species, and they help with the logistics, administration, and sometimes with medical help as well. Members who join the organization receive the offer to be transformed into a googirl and to be given education as a googirl doctor to ensure that their help is used to the fullest. It is not rare that rescued people or former patients join the organization, especially if they have the desire to become googirls themselves and to help others with their abilities.
Outsiders often see the organization as a group of heroes. They appear when disasters strike and rescue people without delay. In hospitals, googirl doctors are respected and enjoy general affection from their patients.
Critics see the monopoly that the organization forms very negatively. They say that it should be split and that the organization holds too much power in the medical world and disaster aid.
Assets
The organization funds itself out of donations and receives some funding from the Queendom of Slimea. Under the control of the organization are some research facilities around the world, while most are inside the borders of Slimea, and several hospitals. They also have a stockpile of goods that are required for the weeks after disasters, like food, water, tents, and more. These stockpiles are often depleted when such disasters strike and most of the funding flows into replacing them.
The members of the organization receive an expense allowance, which is enough to cover their costs, but not equal to the payment they could get in the private economy.
History
After the medical sector of Slimea became the best in the world and Chisana Yuki treated thousands of patients, a new idea grew in her. She wanted to not only help people in her own nation but globally. With the support of Suchiru Eisenstein and the nation itself, she founded the Slimean Medical Aid organization at the start of 2021. Together they formed treaties with other countries and sent googirl doctors to many hospitals in other nations. In the beginning, the organization was led by Chisana and operated chaotically in all their active fields. They gained respect for their quick and efficient rescue operations after several earthquakes hit the eastern regions of Turkey in 2023, as well as their help in suppressing several epidemics in Africa and Asia. The number of operations became too much to be handled by the chaotic nature of the organization. In 2024, the organization reformed itself with a modern structure. Chisana gave up the leadership position but stayed in the organization as a support force.
Most nations and many private companies around the world have formed contracts with the organization to receive their help and to improve their own medical capabilities. Since the restructure in 2024, the organization is active on every continent of Earth and works tightly together with other help organizations like Doctors without Borders.
